A message from the Wairarapa Chiropractic team on our temporary closure
last updated: 3 December 2021
The Wairarapa Chiropractic team has decided that as of 7pm Monday 15 November our clinic will be temporarily closing and taking a PAUSE.
Our team is a mix of individuals who all believe in the importance of body autonomy and personal choice. We have never discriminated in the past and do not intend to start now.
We have been looking at ways of working through this compulsory vaccine mandate for the healthcare sector. Unfortunately, this has not been successful. We have exhausted every avenue that we are comfortable with, and despite this there is no way around this mandate for us at this stage.
Wairarapa Chiropractic will be temporarily closed while this mandate is in place.
This was not an easy decision for our team, and we know this will be disappointing to many of you. We are so sorry that we are unable to serve you during this time.
We hope that in the near future the government will approve testing of unvaccinated (and vaccinated) workers as an alternative. Our Chiropractic Association is continually investigating this.
We realise that everyone is at different stages in their care, and may need some guidance moving forward. Our chiropractors will be making phone calls in the coming weeks to touch base with anyone who has future bookings. The team is happy to chat to you, please feel free to give us a call.
The clinic phone, email and Facebook will be checked daily, so please reach out if you want or need to.
This is not goodbye, it’s just see you later!
Thank you to those of you who have reached out with words of support, we all really appreciate it. We will continue to advocate for everyone’s freedom of choice when it comes to healthcare.
All our love, the Wairarapa Chiropractic team.
